I've been using a GX CS 4 for a while now with no problems, it's got 24 hrs. of use on it and still works fine. I ordered a CS 2 and got it today; I wanted something smaller that I can throw in my truck when out hunting. I ran it through a few tests, and it really impressed me for its smaller size. The one thing I noticed is that the fill gauge on it is in PSI instead of MPA. Most of the reviews I've seen on it the only negative was the gauge did not read PSI....I don't know if they recently changed them or not.... but, I'm happy with it...:)

Makes sense. It's an older model.

I got cx2 b/c incredibly simple, no computers. However I really really wish it had auto shut off. I still wouldn't leave it completely alone with that feature but at least I wouldn't have to stare at the thing the whole time after certain psi just waiting to hit the mark then can shut off myself. Also, the shut off switch is in the back... what an awkward spot since mine sits on a shelf with the hose out the front

On your MPa gauge, 3 = 300 bar; 2 = 200 bar… pretty straightforward.

Most all of my PCPs have fill gauges in bar - about the only rifles I can think of with PSI gauges are Benjamin.

If you decide to switch out your gauge on the CS2 block, that is a 10mm gauge - I don’t believe that a NPT or BSP will work.

Hell, I know they won’t work, I’ve tried both, lol.

edit - ignore me - I just reread your post and saw your gauge is PSI from the factory - weird - I’ve had two CS2s and they came with MPa.

For future reference in this thread, all three of the holes in the GX CS2 block are for 10mm fittings - all except the hole for the brass bleed screw.

A quick and dirty source of 10mm fittings is from a Chinese hand pump that many of us used when 1st getting into PCPs. Otherwise you can source 10mm fittings and gauges on AliExpress.
