Got another one

I decided it had been a couple weeks since I landed one, so I figured they'd be dumb enough to come back now. I set the cuff with mini marshmallows and went to bed.

Woke up around 6am and went out with the 25 cal jumbo and my red torch. 2 big glowing eyes looking up at me. No footage this time, just aftermath.

They sure do make a mess! It knocked my shooting bucket all to hell, so I gotta go out with the shop vac and clean up all the dumped pellets lol.

I got a bonus squirrel too!

She was eating on the few sunflower seeds the coons didn't eat last night. In the right lung and came out the left chest. DRT.

My snake will be happy!

Don't usually like a big mess when I am hunting, but for coons I make an exception. Have had to clean up far to many messes from those buggers that it is nice to see them made a mess of.

What kind of snake do you have?

6.5' long dumeril's boa. He's been eating squirrels since covid shut down all the pet shops and they jacked rat prices up to $20/ea.

I only feed him ones that had a pass thru shot. He's never going to be bred, so I'm not too worried about lead poisoning. He's also almost 20 years old.

Edit: I realized I said my snake eats snakes I meant SQUIRRELS.

If I had the patience and time to skin this one, I would've kept the tail. The rest of the coat was a little boring though.
