Got another springer today - Diana 460 Magnum

I received my "new" .22 cal Diana 460 Magnum today. I ordered a Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 scope for it. Scope shoud be here Thursday.

I had to shoot it, so I did iron sights over my Caldwell Ballistic Chronograph.

I chronied 10 pellets. The pellets were Crossman Premier Ultra Magnum, the average weight was 14.3 gr. The average speed was 857.8 fps. Those numbers gave it an average FPE of 23.37 ft-lbs.

Here are a couple pics:

That there is a realllllllll fine rifle! In my opinion, it's one of the Big Four of Underlever Air Rifles...joined by the HW97, TX200, and LGU, in no particular order...

Thanks. Funny you should mention it - I have an Air Arms TX200 on the way, too. Bought it from Airgun Depot. I'll be able to compare them, but I can't see the TX200 shooting with the same velocity as the Diana 460 Mag. But I'm thinking the TX200 will handle better and have greater accuracy.

You're right, no comparison in velocities...with stock rifles. My 460 is now tuned to around the same level as the TX200...much more pleasant rifle to shoot! Good luck with your 200!
