Got my Caiman today :)

Run some paracord thru the magpul mount about 3 to 4'' to keep the sling hook away from the scope and gun too prevent scratch's. I'm sure you know that lol I also added a extra piece of bicycle inner tube to my hook on the sling, it had some but was hard to put in place. I have a cheap sling so I'll be looking at the one you mentioned. Show a picture when you have it all set up.

For the what it may be worth column -
I took my Tatsu off off of my Caiman, and installed the two segment Huma, M40. While the Huma and the Tatsu are about the same dimensions, the Huma is notably quieter.
I put the short Huma on both, my Caiman and the Caiman X.

I keep moving the Tatsu around, and more often than not, replace it with a Huma, M40 . The Tatsu is turning into kind of an orphan.

I used the Tatsu personally Friday while out pesting and it made it quiet, I've put off buying another donny but it did the job and having being able to test jt first, it made it easy for me to buy. Maybe in the future when I have expendable $$$ to rest a handful of moderators ill test the Mod40

The tatsu does great!

I've used them both, the Tatsu, and the M40, on my Caiman. I've tried both the M40 in a two segment and the three segment as it came. The two segment, (as I noted earlier), is about the same dimensions as the Tatsu, but quieter. The longer three segment is much quieter, but yeah, a little longer. I went back to the two segment to keep my Caiman (and the X) short.

As others have said...
If you want your Caiman a little quieter, the M40 will oblige.

Your gun, your money...

From above :)

I know you have used both, I know people have suggested both. Unfortunately I was only able to personally use the Tatsu before buying hence why I said what I said in the post I am quoting here. I KNOW it worked, many people say the Impacts are the cats ass, I bought one based on that and was sadly disappointed in the end.... Maybe in the future I will end up with a mod40 and will use that as I'd like to keep it as short as possible! However, without any proof with my ears, the easy choice to was to purchase what I knew for a fact worked.

The two or three segment, Huma M40 works well, to lower the blast out of the barrel.
Agreed, I like mine enough that I also ended up with the longer Caiman X. I like the "gray" laminate stock.
A little lubing of the moving parts, a little adjusting of the pellet speed. They don't need much to be a great little gun. And yeah, the trigger action is very nice, mine didn't need any adjusting at all to have a nice crisp, short let-off.
I keep moving sights around on mine. I think that the Primary Arms, SLX, 3x will stay on my Caiman for a while.
Bull pups were originally born as,,,short guns. Back in the late 70's, a coupla firearms makers had, roughly 27" guns.

I've heard the X is "quieter" than the shorter (non-X) out of the box. Any opinion, since you own both?

It's been a while since shooting them with the factory suppressor segments in them, I really don't recall.
But currently, they both have Huma Mod40, two segment suppressors on them, and both sound pretty close to my ears. I just shot them both, indoors to check...
