got my FX Impact back from service and I'm scratching my head on this one.

Just got my Impact back today from AoA and I jump right to putting the scope and took some shots with my chronograph. My Impact spring a leak and the power wheel was showing lots of wear on the Min part of the cam which I mostly shoot with the .22 barrel with that setting so I have the wheel replace too. My Impact was shooting at 920 fps with the Valve at 4, Power wheel at Min and 995 fps with the Power wheel at 4 using JSB 15.9g pellets. This was on my repair notes. "Does not leak at regulator find the lead at the air transfer tube. Rebuilt new cocking block, Valve, steel probe block and set screw. Lubed new power wheel. Tested for function. Spot on for Factory Specifications."
So here is why I'm scratching my head. My gun is now shooting at 840 fps at the Min setting on the Power wheel and 997 fps with the wheel at 4. I closed the Valve and open it back the around the third line same as before I shipped out my gun and still can't get it to shoot at 920 fps on the Min setting...
Why would the gun shoot at around 995 fps with the power wheel set at 4 which is the same at before service and shooting slower with the power wheel at Min. setting? My new Power Wheel has number one side and A-E on the other side. Did FX redesign the cam on the power wheel?
The bottle is above 230b and look like the regulator is at 150b.

Maybe because you got a New power wheel & a New valve?

I shot my Impact today in .22. I chose valve 2, power wheel 2. Which gave me an average of 905 fps. If I wanted 920 I would simply adjust the valve a tiny bit more.

Think of the power wheel as large adjustments, and the valve as fine adjustments.

Power wheel note - I have a new power wheel as well. I have not tried the alpha labeled side, only the numeric labeled side. Perhaps there is a difference. Try leaving the valve in the same position and shooting your way around the power wheel. Let us know if there is a difference between alpha & numeric settings.

Michael, Thanks for your quick reply to this. Maybe my gun was shooting a little hot before the air leak since I was able to shoot 920fps with JSB 15.9g with the old Power Wheel at MIN Setting since your Impact .22 is shooting at around 902 fps with the valve at 2 and power wheel at 2 then at the MIN setting should be in the 800. I will check the gun out with the other barrels tomorrow. I was searching for reference power output on the Impact .22 barrel but didn't have much luck. I remember you had a spreadsheet detailing each valve and power wheel setting for .25 and .30. that was very helpful.

Here are the chrono results I got after valve service and new power wheel. The gun is shooting slower at the lower power end of the wheel and is about the same on the higher end of the wheel since I was able to get 920fps with the wheel at MIN and the valve at 3 before. Maybe my gun was shooting little hot before the air leak. What are you guys getting with your Impact .22 using JSB 15.9g?
