I hate single shot so ordered two of these ad-ons for my 2240 and 2300S even though they are spendy, and they came from England in just over a week. The 2240 conversion in 22cal works as advertised and is a pleasure to use and a great improvement. The conversation for the 177cal 2300S costs more, as a replacement pellet probe was required and included with the kit, and here is where I have a problem. The bolt is now unworkable with the new probe where as it was very smooth with the factory probe and I haven’t even tried firing it because of this. First thought is to hone and smooth some parts to reduce friction, that never hurts, but thats just not right as previously it was very smooth.
I love the product and upgrade to my Crosman pistols, but had converted the 2300S to carbine and this is the one I wanted to work, and it doesn’t. Has anyone else dealt with this 177 probe/bolt problem?
