Groups shot from Bipod

I usually shoot groups on paper from a bench, sometimes offhand. The only time I shoot from a bipod sitting on a bucket is during a field target shoot on steel. I put together a new bipod to try and thought I would shoot groups on paper. I thought I may do better but I guess it is what it is.

I shoot off bags and bipods. Bipods seem to be more challenging to get tight groups, but are better than freehanding shots. The groups are affected by whether I leave the bipod unloaded (not pressing forward until firm) or with a firm pressure to get any free play out of the bipod. Bags seem to shoot more consistently for me.

I shoot hunter (at home more often than at a meet) and find that practice is usually more meaningful than the sticks/bipod as long as the sticks are a comfortable height....One month off and I find that it takes several practices sessions to get back to anywhere close to where I think I should be...

Im shooting a .177 Huntsman the rifle will shoot good groups. But looks like I need a little practice

if the lower right is 55yds.that is not bad....177 in the wind not bad at all.
