The error you are seeing is very common when a sites security certificate runs out. The security certificate is used to establish an encrypted connection between you and the website. That is the https that you see at the top left of a URL. When the certificate is out of date your browser will give you a warning and ask you if you want to continue. That is what everyone is seeing. As much as I dislike GTA, I highly doubt that the administrator there has allowed that site to be hacked. He is a rather accomplished black hat himself...There are 4 differing messages…..privacy restriction violation, the above notification, in breech of security conventions…and u secure site server restriction url..
Bighit mailed me to say they have had a security breech….dunno …anyones guess ..
Did not realise this thread was about comparing sites and critisising,.....and I don't even have an accout on GTA since I deleted it but this is uncalled for.GTA has too many sub forums. A guy can get lost easily. I like the layout here better.
I actually like that about their forum. I bookmarked the PCP, CO2 And HPA Forum so I don't have to scan through a bunch of posts about springers.GTA has too many sub forums. A guy can get lost easily. I like the layout here better.
And your input is always valued.Sorry, earlier when I poked fun at the birth of a conspiracy theory, I failed to also poke fun at the tribalism.
I guess I just like talking to anyone and everyone who enjoys airguns, whatever their tribal affiliation.
