Guess what I got…

I got back into airguns as an adult (I’m 32) about 6-7 years ago. Since then I’ve had a few guns but they have all been budget guns usually around 200-500 dollars. I played with PCPs and gas ram guns, and recently I purchased a Hammerli Hunter Force 900 based off some good reviews…Well it sucked, it’s really bad as far as fit and finish and the trigger is 8+ lbs and I started to realize I just need to get what I always wanted so.

I got a TX200 and it’s the best thing I’ve purchased in a long time. Pyramyd Air is only an hour from me so I got next day delivery and WOW! I understand the jaw dropped reviewers now bc I am already so accurate with this and I haven’t even shot 50 shots. I’m using FTT 4.51 right now bc that’s the first tin I grabbed running out of the house to shoot it. I’ve never shot high end anything and this is just a dream come true to shoot. I got the Pyramyd Air scope package bc it came with the scope I wanted for it anyways and the bundle was cheap! I know everyone has one of these now but it’s a big deal to me and I’m super pumped to have it.

I will be doing a chrono test and the works soon but I just wanted it sighted today and it’s already so easy to be accurate I’m happy I waited this long to buy one bc I learned a lot.

Excellent purchase! I have found mine to shoot any pellet reasonably well. Make sure to get a good allen key set. As the rifle breaks in the screws will come loose. Always a good idea to have them in your range bag.

Thanks for sharing USA made tool info.

Thanks guys! I had a hell of a time getting the scope mount to not move on me. I was using the stop pin and it actually sheared it off! I put the other one in, put lock tite on all the screws and cranked that mount on there and so far (25 shots) it’s good. Lol
Be sure you carefully degrease the dovetail as well as the corresponding area of the mount. I wet a paper towel with denatured alcohol to clean both surfaces. Uj

UJ,

Thanks for the tip! I did clean off the factory coat of oil when I first got it however I didn’t concentrate on the dovetail so I’ll be sure to check it if I have more movement.

If anyone is following this I got some more data on the TX200 and it’s only getting better. For one it’s getting easier to cock already and I have less than 200 pellets through it. I was getting great groups with the 8.64 (4.51) FTT but decided to try a few more heavier ones.

I took some JSB hades and standard 10.34g and shot a little 5 shot group at 20y (pic added below) all 5 through a big ragged hole. Next I tested them at 40y and got almost the exact same size group!

This thing is extremely impressive and is so consistent it’s sickening. Weather wouldn’t let me do any extensive testing but I was able to get a few more shots over the chrono, data below.

cgrats, gotta love the fish-scale checkering. Nice shootin. Similer experience here. Just took longer.I have few nice PCP.s and they are phenomenal but I have a springer in my hands more often. I went the HW route and it's such a difference from a Chinese Tech 97 UL.. The weathers changing fast so get in all the shooting you can with that fine springer.
