Finally got my little gun closet all set up last winter with guns in cabinets inside closet. Hated the cabinets because the 14 gun cabinet would only hold 5 or 6 guns with scopes and guns were getting banged up getting them in and out. Recently had some time to modify the closet better to display guns and make more room overall. The closet is just under 7’ x 52” with a little bump out at the back corner for shelves. Closet is locked at all times and is heated and dry. Just have to spackle and paint this winter when I get some time. 
Pups on the left and long guns to the right. Great space to work on things and keep things organized, plus I like to be able to see my collection when I walk in. Hope this gives someone some ideas for their room.
