All rifles should be tested using a single type of pellet. FX, Hatsan whomever, the numbers posted therefore are just the gun and not some ultra lightweight pellet.

Before a brick and mortar or online store I'd ask myself a few questions. First, a realistic appraisal of what I expect the airgun to accomplish and, second, what's the budget. Caliber/ammo choice would follow. Personal preferences like; wood or synthetic stock, traditional or bullpup styling, length/weight should also be considered. Next, Google and YouTube searches to narrow a list of candidates. I'd consider aesthetics and ergonomics at this point. Searching forum archives for real-life owner experience, followed by direct questioning on forum, should help to finalize decision. With one, or two, in mind, I'd search best price, recognizing scrutiny of seller is part of the process. WM
