The Webley Viscount / Tracker series. IMHO the most interesting Webley rifle this side of the legendary Mk 3 - compact, ingenious design touches, elegantly styled, exquisite metal finish, great balance and handling. But I can't hit anything with them.
My current one is a "Barnett Spitfire" - US import of an early Tracker. Over the years, I've owned two .177 Spitfires, a nice late -version .177 UK Tracker, and a beautiful rare walnut-stocked .22 Viscount (long-barrel version...I was a moron to sell that one). I suspect the issue is the loading tap fitted by CDC machining, as opposed to old-time hand-fitting; but there are fellows out there who can tweak the fit and alignment of these...
