Sometime ago my Guppy's valve started leaking, unless you tighten the valve knob really hard. The situation got worse over time, until it was almost impossible to stop the leak. Finally, I decided to inspect the valve and found the problem: the valve seat had a small piece of a hard material (I don't know what it was) embedded in the delrin seal, thus preventing a good seal.
I ordered a valve seat from airtanksforsale, replaced the defective one, and problem solved. Good service and fast shipping as always. Just don't ask me the $$$, ouchhh!
It is easy to do, the only "trick" worth mentioning is to remember that the valve seat housing tightens counter clockwise. My Guppy is like new again.
