I believe that the OP's Gauge/Fill Valve Assembly from Joe Brancato likely has a Bleed Valve incorporated into it.

jking/Jimmy's price with shipping included was $7 less than Best Fittings in the UK and he had my valve made up and shipped to me in less than a week!
