GX CS2 Mini Mini-Review: JUNK!

I can assure you that is a minority happening and opinion. Most gx pumps are rock solid. If you aren’t giving up altogether on compressors I would either go all in on something like an alkin or try another gx. Really the feedback on them is overwhelmingly good. I’ve had mine almost a year and a half and it’s been great.

Yeah, I just may order another. At least now I know what to expect, maybe I even learned something.

How is changing the burst disk and then running it into a dead head wrong? And when I initially opened up the burst housing, it was full of aluminum filings. All I did wrong was buy a piece of junk with no QC. And for instance, they ship Tuxings with no oil, that says they don't run them before shipping, they leave the QC up to the customer. I've seen a lot of reviews on those expensive Tuxings that failed moments after first starting them up. All of these compressor brands are likely made in the same general region in China, perhaps even in the same labor camp.
Don't listen to people saying you are doing something wrong unless they can point out what's wrong and give advice on how to address the issue, it's not productive. Chinese products like this are known to be hit-and-miss. Some work great for years, some arrive completely messed up. QC was never a strong aspect of Chinese production. Try one or two more and if they don't work, just move on. And there is nothing wrong with returning and exchanging bad products.

I don’t know what you could really do wrong to blow burst disks other than run the pressure up too high if the disks aren’t faulty themselves. I know with mine I never really fill to a true 300 bar as I don’t ever assume these gauges to be really accurate. Stop at about 4k.

If you are dead heading into a hose itself without at least the volume of a filter to slow down the quick build of pressure you will have a greater chance of overpressurizing the system and blow the disc. It doesn't take much time to build pressure if there is barely any volume to fill.

It's the factory recommended test procedure for this unit.

What is working for the majority is not working for you. It means it is time to change what you are doing because doing the same thing and expecting and different outcome is definitely not working. Try again? 🤔

Maybe the inexpensive route just won't work for you.

I've seen many reviews of expensive Tuxings being junk, breaking the first time out or a short time thereafter. The real issue here is with Chinese QC not my expectations. And you say these compressors are working for the majority? I've not seen that, not in this thread, not anywhere.

And please don't insinuate that I'm a fool, please stop responding to this thread, thank you.
