I have, 2 or 3 CS2 compressors, (can't remember, I think I still have a new one still boxed for parts) and 1 CS3. I use the CS3 most of the time, as I do use and trust the auto shutoff, but I still watch it. It is just a tad bit handier for bench use. I have to admit, a lot of times, when I'm shooting different guns, and filling different pressures, I just turn it on and manually shut it off, so in that respect, I might as well be using a CS2. My CS2 has a lot of hours on it, and I've only had it apart to check grease and clean the check valve. It is an astounding piece so far, not a single hiccup, (crap, I probably just jinxed it). I've had all of mine for around a year and a half, and use the CS2's off and on, but the 3 gets the bulk of use. All work well, will hit 4500psi without problems, and I have no complaints. I don't like the idea of having to use cooling water, but if that was the only way, I'd do it. These are so much easier to maintain.
