The compressor worked great for 2 years until last week it started making a horrible metal on metal noise. Heard what I found when opened.

I'm just curious if you know about how many hours are on it? I've read where some users are disassembling their compressors about every 10 hours of use and relubing everything and inspecting the internals for wear. Sucks having a compressor down. I know that Target Forge sells some parts, they seem to have the most popular parts on backorder but it would hurt to check with them if you think it's rebuildable.

I ran it for 10 minute increments 90% of the time. Always ran cooling fans for 20 minutes after that. The other 10% was 15-20min runs. I definitely ran it to failure. It held up well no complaints.

I bought mine in September last year as a result of Mike selling me his PRod.
I don’t shoot the PRod much and when I go to the range I use my Guppy.

Just so everyone knows ,Mark is a great guy to deal with . He will take care of you . I have bought compressors from him and parts. He is extremely knowledgeable and will make sure you are taking care of quickly.
