Did none of you see this picture?!?! Didn't know an HW97 needed to be filled with a compressor!

Sorry but if a company can't get simple things correct........I wouldn't trust their compressor to be worth a damn.

LOL. Their promotional materials/ pictures are horrible! Their pictures with the superimposed backgrounds and equipment look like crap and don't even go together. It's like some clueless person put this promotion stuff together and someone signed off on it without looking. Pretty sad actually. So to your point, this kind of stuff makes you question what you're actually going to get and if you're willing to even give the company a try when they can't get something this simple correct.

That said, the $600 compressor's fit and finish is very good and has initially worked very well for me. No rattling or loose parts and performs very cool and to spec. I only have 4 hours on it, so time will tell if it turns into a giant paper weight. If I was a betting man, I'd bet it's going to serve my needs well for a quite a while. Fingers crossed.

Any idea of how difficult these are to rebuild? Are there any diagrams in parts lists? Are parts available to be purchased? I presume all pumps matter if they're a $50 hand pump to a $5,000 diver pump eventually we'll need to be maintained and rebuilt.
Their online support is lacking and I have no idea about customer support. I assume you’d need to contact them for a rebuild kit. The purchase comes with one and manual With drawings. Instruction are limited but easy enough to figure things out. Here are a few pages.

Thanks. In the parts kit are this piston rings metal, o-rings or something else. Sealing rings = o-rings?
It seams that support may be lacking so any buyer would be prudent to assume that the replacements parts better be commonly available from other sources, or after the return and warranty period you are out of luck. Even if parts are available it seem very complicated and problematic to repair without some service manual or other information to guide someone doing this for the 1st time. How is Amazon sold warranties? If the it is good then worst case you can pay additionally $65.99 3-Year Protection coverage and assume you will get 3 years of use minus downtime for repair or replacements or your money back.

That's not bad at all .

Anyone have experience with their Protection coverage? Wonder what the process is and how long it takes?

My first compressor, a Spritech, died after 18 months. I had purchased the Asurion extended warranty through Amazon. I submitted my claim with a few required pictures and had my refund processed in 20 minutes, no questions asked. So, for 18 months of using the compressor, and filling my rifle every 2-3 days, my total cost was $16.20 (sales tax) + $44.99 (Asurion 3-yr Protection Plan) = $61.19!! Also, I did not have to ship back in the broken unit, so it could be fixed/rebuilt, maybe? I was so impressed I turned right around and bought the same package again.

The piston rings (bottom of picture) are some type of composite and sealing rings are O-rings. The rest of the parts are plastic rubber and metal.

Black parts = Rubber
Orange parts = plastic
White parts = plastic

That's great to hear! I never buy protection plan, but did for this because I didn't know what kind of reliability I was getting. Hope I never have to use it, but it's god to know.

Thank you for being a guinea pig and for the info. Keep the posts coming! If this thing is good, it seems like it hits a sweet spot nothing else does.
Sure thing. Opened it up today to wire up an hour meter. Just measures when the pump is running. the unit has a switch that turns on the fan and water pump and another for the air pump. Here are some pictures of the inside.

Probably will add a decent Desiccant Filter as well.

More fill time/ temp testing. Topped off the 6.8L/ 74sf tank from 250/255 bar to 300 bar in 13m 34s. Max temp at burst disk on top of pump head at the end of the run was 88 degrees. Room temp at 74. Fill from 200 to 300 bar will likely be about 30 minutes on the 6.8L. I will check max temp when I do that. Also a short video for how it sounds. Pretty quiet even sitting next to it.

Now on to buying another gun. Looking for something with more power and longer range target Shooting. Something solid at a 100 yards or so. I like to tinker and mod stuff and good for up to $2k. suggestions? I bought the m-rod in .22 for pest control. Mostly birds.

Still an oilless system, water cooling or no water cooling. I guess time will tell.
But for just a little bit more, you can get something like a Tuxing TXEDT032, which is a proven, robust platform with proper lubrication, better air quality, greater output, and a water cooling system onboard as well.
I was thinking the same thing. I got my Tuxing 042 for $600. Dual cylinder, water cooled. True, It is not a portable as this machine, but I could take my Tuxing to the field in the bed of my F150 and plug it into the 110 outlet in the bed. Fill rate is the same for both units, so for a single cylinder that is impressive.

Can you see anywhere who is the manufacturer?
