GX CS4 compressor

Is your nitrogen tank feeding the compressor at full pressure, or do you have a regulator to reduce the input pressure to the compressor? Just curious if there would be any harmful effect of force feeding the compressor? Sounds like a good way to exctract all the nitrogen from your tank and prolong refill intervals.
here are some pics of how I did this I also added a vibration hr meter and a temp probe to the pipe head connection

Based on your pictures, I just moved my temperature probe to the top of the cylinder. It slid right into the top slot on the head, just opposite the sensor screwed to the other side. I’m thinking that’s also a temperature sensor for the control board. It slid right in with a little friction, so it sits nice and snug and shouldn’t vibrate loose. Hopefully, my readings should be more accurate.

Has anyone used one of these compressors to top off a 74cu/ft tank from 3K psi to 4.5K psi? If you have please post the time to do it, and any comment on doing so.
Thanks
mine was a first run and pumped from about 3300 to 4200 it took about 22minutes, filled my 580 cc avenger from 3000 to 4200 in 3minutes

Looks like it, did you get some spares with your compressor? I know on my Hill, they are a scheduled maintenance item to replace a regular intervals. I'm sure they get stressed over time and need to be replaced so they don't prematurely burst. Do you routinely fill to 300 BAR? Since it's rated to 400 BAR, I would think the Burst disks would be rated slightly higher, but, that is a lot of pressure and they may have gotten fatigued. I'd replace it and then run it to 400 BAR useing the Deadhead and see what happens. If all seems good, caulk it up and keep moving, if it bursts again, or the compressor doesn't seem to be running like it did before, I'd contact GX direct and see what they say.

I’ve seen the Omega Trail Charger over pressure and blow the burst disc without warning.
Take out the check valve assembly beneath the burst disc main bolt. Good chance the check valve and seat will be dirty with carbon. It’s a very simple assembly. Clean it up with WD40 and it’s good to go.
Yes it was filthy in there! I cleaned it up and put it back together and it seems to be working again.
