GX CS4-I: Blew some Seal ➠ How do I fix it?

FLgunner,

you make me feel good that we have the forums!! 😊

I explain:
After having researched literally hundreds of scopes and projectiles, and
over 50 silencers, bullpups, and adjustable scope mounts —
and after having written up my findings for the forums —
TODAY I came to AGN with a problem —
and without a clue about compressors
.... 😞

And I really didn't want to research compressors, too!!! 🤷🏻‍♂️
They're "uninspiring" to me.... 😆

Then you came right back with an answer to my ignorant question. You laid it all out for me: links, suggestions, names, email addresses, the works.
THANK YOU for doing the research! 🤝🏼

1900colt,
your comment is probably right on — it seems to be a burst disk. Thank you!
That's a 1 minute fix — as I could tell from the video link.

I will try my luck tomorrow.

❓ Since I'm far removed from parts suppliers:
What spare parts should I be buying and have sitting on the shelf for the GX CS4-I?

The CS4 is a very solid well performing compressor. Do not over grease it and should be trouble free. Burst disks may be the only thing you might want. They can be ordered right from GX if you ever need more.

You should have some spare burst discs in the packet of spare parts that came with your compressor. It is a 1 minute job to replace it! If you need some or want spares on hand, and GX Pump doesn't have them, you can order Burst Discs from Amazon also, just measure the one that's in there so you get the correct size.

8.5mm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CDH1HVQD?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ct_RGQVFX2D6K3QZ1EV8MTX

7mm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K3YF83T?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ct_RGQVFX2D6K3QZ1EV8MTX_1

Target Forge also has some: https://targetforge.net/shop/ols/products/burst-disk-cs23

I figure those will work, but it has always bugged me that they don't give the pressure rating on them.

For the record, the CS4 burst discs are 6.7mm. My kit came with 6 spares.
