With the meter itself, you are able to measure the current on more then one cable at a time, but it has to be on the same phase. Larger circuits that have parallel feeds. But that's for a different forum.Correct, cancels each other out.

Tried again today with the splitter and multimeter. The numbers you have @ 200 bar seems really high. Did you take measurements on the primary with a clamp meter and line spliter?
Yeah, the nameplate rating of 350 watts is to be taken with a grain of salt. 6 / 120 = 720 watts...Tried again today with the splitter and multimeter.
PS alone - .18A
Fan & pump on - 1.66A
Compressor on - 3.63A
DH test @ 400 bar - 5.5-6.02A (meter doesn't have a max hold feature, so hard to tell for sure)
Ran the same test on the DC cable only and got similar results. Definitely higher than yours.
Sorry, XYeah, the nameplate rating of 350 watts is to be taken with a grain of salt. 6 / 120 = 720 watts...
And I saw a peak jump of 14-15A every time I turned the compressor on.Yeah, the nameplate rating of 350 watts is to be taken with a grain of salt. 6 / 120 = 720 watts...
Inrush is expected, but that seems high for this. Just my 2 cents. And I saw a peak jump of 14-15A every time I turned the compressor on.
But of course. I always let it cycle about 5 times before I close the purge valve. With the compressor motor / pump turned on with no load. Valve open?
Looks to be superiorIf anyone wants to do a group purchase, its about 5% less expensive for the compressor, and about 20% less for shipping, for purchasing 30 units.
If not for the new, not even released yet compressors from AEA, Id almost be interested in reselling these GX models on Ebay.
I wish AEA would disclose more details on their new product.
It might be superior....But then again, it might not?
No it's not... that's an air-cooled compressor. It is a far lesser compressor then the cs4. It'll never do what the cs4 can doLooks to be superior
ANY compressor that is producing meat, has a problem!Isn't air cooled better if it doesn't produce that much meat? Less maintenance right?
And what can the cs4 do that AEA cannot? AFAIK cs can not do 7000psi.
I would agree with this.Isn't air cooled better if it doesn't produce that much heat? Less maintenance right?

Here’s an ExTech. has a leg for X1 and X10 for very low amp draw devices. Why use a splitter vs just clamping the wire itself? To isolate each leg?
