Curious as to why you put the pellet sleeves around the filter.

Are you planning on filling that tank in one go from empty? If so, no lol, but I'd like to be proved wrong.

The pellet sleeves were part of the temporary cob job to attach filter. I didn’t want to drill into the new compressor so one existing screw ( although larger) in bottom mount , foam for space between the two, and a zip tie holding it all together

I know all 4 of you interested in this post are anxiously awaiting an update… haaaa

about an hour ago on the bottle the larger oil filled gauge started pouring out its oil. Out of concern for safety I bought what I thought was a better valve and double gauge than the ones Tuxing supplies with bottles. Made a call to Topgun Airguns and they
will send a new gauge.
I thought that might end my experiment but didn’t see any sign of an air leak so let it go on.
It’s approaching four hours and passing 220 bar. Grease and water fills are only warm to the touch, no more than it was at one hour.
To get to 300 bar I can see will take longer than five hours I think, gonna let it carry on.
