H&N is never the best pellet for me ???

I've been doing a lot of shooting this summer and shooting a lot of different guns, and not a single one of them shoots H&N pellets well. In fact, Crosman domed pellets from Walmart beats H&N in every gun I own. What gives? I've heard and read of good results, but it's never the case with me. I have a Katran .177, an R10 .177, a Brk Sniper .22, a AR Challenger HFT and an HW100 .22 to name a few, and none of these are pellet picky at all, but none of them will shoot H&N well. I've tried FTT and Barracuda and even shot some match wadcutters in my Challenger 2021, which shoots almost anything well and no go.
What gives? This can't be the norm for H&N can it?

H&N pellets have always shot better in .177 for me, particularly the hunters, hubter extremes, the barracuda powers and both the barracuda 4.50 and 4.52. This has been the case out of the impact m2, taipan vet, flashpup, and at44.

In any other caliber it's been sub par. But the slugs have always worked for me.

My Caiman Xs favorite pellet is the H&N Baracuda 18. Noticably more accurate than the JSB or FX 18 or any of the other pellets I've tried (which includes multiple JSBs). My P35-22's favorite pellet is the H&N Baracuda Match, either head size. I've shot one 200 on the 30 yard challenge with this gun and pellet. My P35-177's favorite pellet is the H&N Baracuda FTT but it also shoots the Match pellets very well. My Prod's favorite pellet is the copper plated H&N Baracuda 14.? grain. It also shoots Crosmans well but they are noticably less consistent so a little less accurate.

Now my Avenger in 25 and my P35-25 do prefer JSB made pellets. FX 25.4s for the Avenger and MKII heavies for the P35.

I feed my guns what they prefer but I don't mind when they like H&Ns. Their weight is more consistent than JSBs and their price is typically lower. I have not had good luck with Crosmans in my P35-177. I had one good tin than shot with the H&Ns but the next two were terrible. They are so inaccurate I don't even plink with them. I will shoot them into the lake to test moderators. I bought a head size gauge just to figure out what the difference was. The "bad" pellets had head sizes for every hole in the gauge. No consistency at all. I don't think I've purchased a Crosman pellet since. I have never had a problem like this with H&Ns(or JSB). But I also know from my experience that not all guns like H&Ns.

Each barrel is different and shoot best with different make of pellets. My rifle shoot JSB sort of OK at short distance, but so does it shoot even some crappy cheap pellets OK at short distance. At longer distance like 50 meter and beyond JSB 18gr is all over the place. But the JSB 13gr and 14gr shoots good up to 50 meter. I have here half a tin JSB Predator Polymag I tried a few years back, which some people say shoots fantastic in their rifles, but I am lucky if I shoot 50mm at 25 meter with it out of any of my rifles.
That is why it is good to have have a choice.
