H&N Slug HP II

Been getting some excellent groups with these slugs. I have been through ~8k v2 javelins and they performed well for a while but groups started opening up after some time.
Decided to give these a go and haven’t looked back.
They also make a hell of a noise against pest birds & squirrels.
5 shots each @ 40 yards
.22 30gr H&N Slug HP II on the left and .22 18.1 fx on the right;

What speed? Mine are lasers at 938 fps

I have been shooting the H&N .22 34 grain Heavy Slugs (.217) out of my 700mm Panthera with terrific success. Shooting at 1004 fps

Shooting @ 970 FPS
Averaging 5 ES.
Also these are .218

I've had good results with the .217 25 and 27 gr.
1:16 twist barrel. Speed around 890 to 930.
Still experimenting with speed but optimistic results so far.

Groups might have been opening up because your barrel needed cleaning.

I think it was a batch to batch thing.
I used 3 different heavy twist liners and had the same results.
I cleaned the barrels, re-leaded, and still had poor groups.
