FX Had to share this one…..FX Royale 400 .22

All,

Just had to stop by and share this one. I have a soft spot for the older FX Smooth Twist guns (Boss, Royale) etc. and have owned and do own more than my fair share but this one is special.

FX Royale 400 .22 picked up here not long ago and had been sitting for a number of years. Had a well known FX guy (promised I wouldn’t name names) go through it top to bottom, Huma reg installed, resealed, cleaned up inside and out including the stock, trigger set perfectly, just taking the good and making it great.

This one has one of the nicest walnut stocks I have ever seen on a FX and tuned for 890 with the JSB 18.13 with the carbon fiber bottle it is light weight and just laughably accurate and what I believe is a Neil Clague moderator affixed it is damn near silent.

It is not often I refer to anything as perfect but this one is about as close as you can get in my opinion.

Anyways, just wanted to share an oldie but a goodie.

I'm also the proud owner of a Royale 400 in .22. Along with my Taipan Veteran and RAW HM1000, it shares some valued features; accuracy, simplicity, dependability. It was one of my first PCP rifles, and it will be one of my last to sell. Definitely one to keep.

I've got a wonderful FX400 22 and two FX500's. They are always on. No need to adjust anything.

Congrats to all who posted. Beautiful rifles. I sold one I had in .25. It was a wonderfully accurate and smooth rifle.

I bought mine used from AoA in 2013
Had a nice stars and stripes hydro dipped stock and a carbon fiber looking dip on the barrel and bottle.
It was a little too flashy for me, so i stripped the dip off of the stock only to find a Steve Corcoran walnut stock

I bought mine used many years ago and still love it! I have a huma reg in the cupboard for it, but so far just can't bring myself to mess with it and install it. So it's still running unregulated and with the old steel bottle. Great looking and shooting guns.
Tried to find a decent pic of the old girl but they are mostly hunting photos.

My Royale. I think it is a 500? Shoots awesome has a slow leak. I need to get around to rebuilding it.
