Sorry Scott, I guess I was a little light on the description lol. The hammer in the uragan is a swinging or revolver type. If you watch the video closley you can hear and see a double tap. The spring they use is extremely stiff with alot of preload. I heard but havent checked the hammer is 22 grams. Which is decently light. I was thinking of shaving a gram off at a time and see if it helps.

While nearly ALL hammers will cyclic rattle a tad bit after initial strike ... Question is IF OR NOT the valve is getting reopened ?
Bounce in its self in not necessarily bad if valve don't reopen. With such a light hammer it might not be ?

I see what your saying. I am getting nearly 80 shots at 105fpe. Which I cant complain! Maybe I should leave well enough alone it shoots like a dream!

Crunch your efficiency numbers and see where your at ? ... that will be very telling if your wasting much air.

I said screw it and lightened the hammer. Glad I did! Stock was 31 grams ( minus spring and guide). I took it to 26 grams and no more bounce, velocity remained the same, and effeciency went up some.

Sounds like a solid modification .. tho real world Numbers of BEFORE and AFTER would be more concrete
