if its in warranty (3years if you purchased from PA) send it back !!

i have read that you can't take the bottle off without a major tear-down, but thats just hear-say !

if mine ever fails in or out of warranty, its going back to PA.
It's under warranty

Contrary to popular belief the warranty is with umarex. If you have a warranty issue you should send it back to umarex. You do not have a warranty with pyramid Air or any other retail stores. Why would you send it to a company that doesn't have all the tools and knowledge of the manufacturer. Not only can the manufacturer fix it they can also provide improvements that have happened. If you send it back to the manufacturer they can also fix issues for everyone who owns the product. Pyramid Air might get you back up and running but it doesn't help everyone else in the community.

I bought mine used, no warranty. The bottle should be threaded, but not sure if they have goo sealing the threads.
Even if you purchased yours used you should send it to umarex and see what they will do for you. They might charge you something they might charge you nothing they might even give you a new product. The manufacturer can do many wonderful things.
