Hammer tension screw getting loose on Impact MKII

Good morning guys,
Just like the title says, the tiny screw that adjusts hammer tension (micro adjustor) keeps getting loose on my Impact MK2. About a month ago it started to shoot very inconsistently, I did not know what was going on, tried taking apart a lot of things until I finally realized that the screw was completely loose. I readjusted and it has happened again 2 times since then.
I do not want to put locktite on it because I still want to tinker with it, any suggestions on what I can put there in order for it to ”bite” better? I thought about thread seal tape (Teflon tape). Any suggestions? Any replacement part that might work better?

Blue loctite works well for that screw.
You will still be able to adust, but will require a little more force

I use a product called VC-3 Vibra Tite for just these kinds of situations; things that may need adjustment or disassembly from time to time. The product is a bit more expensive than Loctite and does not need to be re-applied each time a screw or bolt is messed with.

Thanks guys for your replies, I’ll look into them! I just re-tuned and made a tiny mark (silver marker) on the screw just in case it happens again!

Uhm, this is the only one thing I can think you asking about.

I put one 2mm oring there about two years ago and the screw didn't move yet on its own ... over 20K shots and dissembled my MK2 million times I can do with closed eyes now.

Take the screw out and fingernail polish paint on the screw let it dry and reinstall oring trick works as well
