Do you intend to use it as the 10m pistol it is or are you hoping to something more with it?
The advertised specs are probably very close with a 7 or 8 grain wadcutter (I like RWS Meisterkuglen) but if you want to use a diablo pellet for silo or just short range pistol target shooting you'd be back in the game of finding the best pellet for you.
Diff gun for me but they are all very similar.
I do both the things mentioned above with 2 different Steyr LP2's and I'm right at 490fps with the one I use for 10m with 8.2g wadcutters and a tad faster with the one I use for Silo and plinking from the deck with JSB 7.33's.
No reason I can't do both with the same gun since my son lost interest so you might see one on them classifieds soon.
The cheaper non PRO version saves roughly $150 that gives around 125 shots instead of 180 and has synthetic grips vs the PRO's walnut. Just the walnut grips alone is worth the extra to me. The extra shot count is great too.
The standard AP20 is also few ounces lighter.
No plans to use it as a 10m pistol. I want it for a quality, target type pistol for a backyard plinker and for starlings and pest birds out to 20yds. If I can get a little more velocity than my IZH-46M I would be very happy.

You are only going to get around 10-15fps more than an IZH46M that's if you're lucky.
You are better off buying a Lothar Walter barreled Crosman 1701P and swapping TPs at least with an OEM 0.067 1720T or for max power 0.80 P-Rod if you want the most power to shoot birds. You can add on carbine stock too cheap Crosman or expensive RAI AR15 style and extra side folding as well more money but still way less than the cost of the Hammerli PRO.

The only real options you have for velocity are lighter pellets or adjusting the reg. Lighter pellets are just something you'd have to experiment with and they won't increase FPE and accuracy would be a big question. The reg.... Not something I'd advise on a 10m pistol unless you feel very comfortable with good advice. I adjusted my scoped Steyr and it now shoots the 8.2 grain wadcutters at 550 where the stock one shoots the same wadcutter at 440 (just shot both over the chrony. I wouldn't adjust mine further than that.
How did you quiet the Steyr LP2? They are super loud pistols!
