Hand Pump vs Compressor?

Bigger issue with hand pumps is the moisture introduced into the gun. In order to have sufficient drying it would take quite a bit more pumping to fill. Hand pumping killed my marauder pretty quickly which ended up costing much more to rebuild than replacing seals. I would never even consider trying to top off my lcs 580 and western rattler 700 cc tanks with one.

14 it is, and a couple of them take 3600 psi fills. One of them has a 4500 psi tank, but I don't top it off very often.

what do you do about moisture ?

I always pump indoors where the humidity is low and I take breaks and purge the moisture when my pump gets warm. I've owned pcps for over 20 years and I've never found any moisture or damage inside any of my guns.

Keeping my Impact MKII fed and oringed up keeps me plenty busy, I would not know how to cope with 14.

Some airguns like my 3 hammerless have no parts that will corrode but the seals won't last as long with the humid air. You'll find yourself rebuilding/ chasing leaks more often.

I only had one leak in all the pcps I've owned and it was an o-ring in the fill valve.

I don't own an FX or anything else high end. All of mine are simple guns.
