Hand pump vs Compressor!!

I got my Benjamin pump up to 3400 psi trying to pump up my Impact, but the O-rings started going at that point hahahaha .... about fell over on that last pump with no pressure in the pump.

When I went past 3200psi I started to get a bit weary, one of the reasons I stopped at 3500psi. I have used it several times since I fill the 90ci tank and it still doing just fine,I did buy a o-ring kit for it just in case.

MY TWO CENTS ON THIS, I JUST GOT MY MARAUDER RIFLE AND THE BENJAMIN HAND PUMP, THE RIFLE ARRIVED WITH ONE THOUSAND P.S.I. FROM THERE TO THREE THOUSAND PSI IT TOOK ME AROUND 200 PUMPS, AFTER THAT, TO TAKE IT FROM TWO THOUSAND TO THREE THOUSAND ONLY 65 TO 70 PUMPS, TAKES ABOUT TWO MINUTES FOR ME TO FILL IT IN.... OK... I'M 6 FEET TALL, WEIGHT ABOUT 250 POUNDS, AND I DON'T REALLY SWEAT DOING IT. BUT MY SON, 19 YEARS OLD, TALLER THAN ME, WITH MUCH LESS WEIGHT, VERY STRONG BUT LESS WEIGHT, COULD NOT MAKE IT HAPPEN, EVEN GETTING ON TOP OF THE PUMP! SO YES YOU NEED TO BE KIND OF HEAVY....AND STRONG. THOSE WERE MY TWO CENTS... GOOD LUCK! BROTHERS! AND YES IN THE FUTURE, THINKING IN BUYING A COMPRESSOR... JUST HAVEN'T SEEN THE ONE....NEED MORE INFO ON THE GUYS THAT HAVE BOUGHT ONE. SEE HOW THEY ARE DOING.

When ya get up past 3000 ya learn how to put your gut into it to get it down that last 3 inches hahaha, my biggest issue were my hands,they were getting a bit sore towards the end and I'm 5"11 250 lbs with a fused and plated neck(played to hard when I was young and it caught up to me) and I have heart disease C A D....yep I just can't jump on the pump I need to take it slow, 20 full pumps and rest and repeat until full.
My AV can't get here fast enough, Maybe I should just invest in a FX Independence Hmmmmmm..............J/k......,maybe heeheehee..

THE COST OF HAND PUMPS IS $200 TO $300, FOR $350 YOU CAN GET A CHINESE "TUXIN " 4500 POUND COMPRESSOR WHICH WILL FILL A HATSAN 25 CAL. BULLBOSS FROM 0 TO 3200# IN ABOUT 4 MIN.

That all depends where you start from but if you go from let's say 1800 psi to 3000 psi on a Airgun tank it can take about 80 to 120 pumps depending on the hand pump, maybe less maybe more..

I am very happy with my Shoe Box. I have a small 90 tank and I keep it topped-off at 4500. Fills the Marauder up to 2900 about 11 times. I finish filling to 3100 with a hand pump when I go hunting for an extra mag. But ya, $300 for the tank and another $550 for the compressor is not cheep. But I can and do shoot as much as I please. But as others have said, lead is getting expensive!

It only takes 45 min to top off the tank. Another 30 pumps puts the rifle at 3100 and 33 strokes takes it to 32. At 190 pounds, it does take some effort!

Glad your in a compressor guy now, I'm also in your health club, i do wok out everyday treadmill and wts, but i'm happy you can now put your energy into shooting as much as you want without working out in order to shoot. How is the compressor working for you?"Imold"I'm all set up and running now,life is good.
A new level on enjoyment i'm sure.

Compressor is great I just need to stock more pellets,which I do now, I have a pretty good supply of JSB 25,39s....
