HAND PUMPED AIR RIFLES

Hi, I was wondering if any BRAND NAME air rifle manuf. makes a old style pump air rifle , I have been looking and havent found any,or am I just looking in wrong places? I think if a company made one , they would have buyers.I know I am old school and OLD , but I bet there is quit a few that would like to back to OLD SCOOL if for nothing else ,nostalgia. And those did produce some velocity out of them and accuracy was very good.I used to shoot little army plastic men at about 30ft or so. Took out MANY platoons in my basement.I was a hero in my own mind.

I have a Webley Rebel pumper. Only shot it a couple times but it seemed like a good gun. I’d sell it to you but you’re brand new here and didn’t even put where you’re from in your profile. They don’t make it anymore but it’s a pretty cool gun. I bought it because I planned to build a wood stock for it like the original Sharp airgun they copied.

The majority of airguns I own come from flea markets and yard sales. If you keep an eye out (no pun intended) you can spot gems from time to time. A little knowledge and elbow grease will put them back into service.

This '71 760 was a flea market find. It still works like new, but it was expensive... $45.00! I have another that was $10.00 and needed a little work. They've both taken down their share of toy soldiers.

I've seen Crosman 140's, 1400's and Sheridans at flea markets. You just have to go and look. Craigslist occasionally has something as well.

Cheers,

J~
