My model c pumps and shoots fine. The problem is the pump arm no longer stays shut. It hangs down and doesn't snap shut like it used to.

Have you tried attaching neodymium "button" magnet(s) (small round ones) to the arm where it contacts metal when it closes? Works well for holding closed levers when they get "tired".

Rather doubt a magnet will be attracted to the brass tube of a Streak!
There is a leaf spring in the lever assembly to push it up when closed - yours may be broken or out of position?

I don't know if the spring can be replaced without removing the link rivet. One expert source for parts and repairs (who likely knows the answer) is:

What is that rifles history?
Did you loose it, or aquire it that way?
The part is number 3 PL Spring 207, it is inside the pump lever. It could possibly still be there and restricted some way?
If it is gone this is the part to search for.

There is a bit of confusion there, but the number shown is for the C Model not the C9.
The C9 doesn't show a separate spring. The C9's part number is for the lever arm assembly altogether.

Yes I saw that. I need the spring for the C model. I'm looking for a pic better pic of the C9 to see if its the same.

It's not the same, and the spring in the C9 is not an available part.
On the C9 it is all one unit with one part number.
We also know that the C Model number is for that part is C207 (SHE) just means Sheridan.
The C9 hasn't got any part numbers close to 207.
Just ask Jg for a picture of it, if you're still not sure.
