HI,
I also just got myself a new Daystate (ahem Coltri) paintball (ahem SCUBA) compressor.
Well, I am very happy that I did - I filled some of my old SCUBA tanks from completely empty in just over 20 mins. Fantastic!
Tops up my 97 cu/ft carbon Omega to 4500 psi in no time at all.
It seems very solid and very well made and that doesn't surprise me based on the stories that I have heard about this Coltri model and how people abuse them on dive boats. I didn't want to mess with the coolants and the other headaches of the Omega not to mention the crazy slow fill rate of really small compressors.
So I went a little more $'s and I am so glad that I did now (as they say you'll only cry once). It's probably a bit more compressor than I really need but the freedom it gives me is already making me thinking of shooting my rifles a LOT more.
If you can manage the extra $'s go for the Daystate!
Robert
