Has any one take a White Tailed Deer with a. 30 Cal and 44 grain slugs?

Just follow state guidelines. Takes a .35 or bigger to be legal here in Ky. It counts as a muzzle loader when single loading. Going to happen in Dec for me. Lol. A .30 will definitely do it though, the challenger pro i just traded would punch through a 4x4 at 50yds with slugs.

i did last year with my uragan .30 and NSA 47.2gr dbhp's
there not the 44gr you asked about but the shot placement i
made would take a whitetail easily.

I will aim to the heart or frontal head.
To the heart should get without problem and the expansion would be enough to make a fast clean kill.
