Has anyone added a sling to their FX Impact yet?

I was thinking about adding a low profile angled sling adapter to the top rail so I don't have to put the gun down when I'm reloading my mag in the desert.
Something like this that would fit under the scope and not interfere. Do you think it would work?

I am using the same sling on my FX Independence love it ... I do have it attached to the rear sling stud though and I am going to try to find a rail base like yours that will fit the dove tail on my gun as there is no pic rail!

I use one on the side of my Bobcat with a single point sling set up.

SethAZ, I think you will like it a lot, I first started using them in the forces but since that time I have a real thing for them as it to me is the most natural feeling sling!

That's a good idea. I think that's what Michael did to his. 
I was trying to keep in mind the folks that may have scraped and saved every penny for an Impact and didn't want to spend more $ on more stuff.

Just a couple of questions.

1 - Might be kind of dumb, but is the sling system you show in your YouTube video lefty-friendly? As in, nothing gets in the way with the cocking lever or anything left that if it's hanging off the left side of your body?

2 - What grip do you have on your Impact? That looks big 'n' beefy, just what my hands like!

Mine, here i can have the barrel pointing down, which i could not do by attaching the sling on the rail with my scope, the gun stayed level.

Aaah thank you, Parrots. That appears to be more along the lines of what I'm looking for; especially allowing the gun to hang vertically. By chance do you have a link to the piece that attaches to the gun?

You can attach it to either side of the gun.

My Impact M3 700mm with every weight over 11lb I thought about a single mount that hooked to the picatinny rail there is 2 screws in the back and 1 screw in the middle I decided not to do it I believe it is to much weight for those 3 screws

Yep it was one of my first mods I made for my M3 ...
I made a stainless steel custom threaded insert to replace the allen set screw for adjusting the LOP of my K&L adjustable buttstock assembly.
Then I used a simple Screw-on socket for a QD sling swivel....

Then I used a simple picatinny rail mounted QD attachment cup.
It secured to the underside picatinny rail on the K&L ACRA rail
