Has anyone deleted the 1st reg. on their MK3 ???

Dual reg is to help with low reg settings below 120 bars. When it comes to reg delete, could you just set the reg to highest setting like 200 bars or even higher? Granted reg delete is pretty inexpensive.
My understanding is factory FX AMP regs will not adjust over ~160Bar without damage, or short service life. That number comes from a combo of FX literature, FX videos, Ernest Rowe videos, Utah Air tech department, and personal experience. That goes for both the front and rear AMP regs, which will limit how high you can push that optimal ~20Bar pressure differential between the two. And if you just crank the front reg up to 11, that can cause some crazy pressure swings that the final reg will have to try to control. We saw wild fps swings as a result.

Im with you, lower pressures work best with the dual setup. Huma makes higher pressure range regs, which might work great for higher dual reg slug tunes.

Just about all my guns have their Reg set at 150 or higher so there is no need for dual reg at all. Maybe FX should provide/make a delete kit themselves, thankfully the Panthera only has 1 reg.

Yeah and the Panthera AMP reg might be able to go higher than the ones on the "older" models. FX said the Panthera reg is beefier and improved so it will be interesting to see how far owners can push them after a couple years.

I'm thinking about deleting the 1st reg on my new MK3.... it started creeping and I did the Ernest Rowe polishing trick and it still creeps and I feel that it's too inconsistent. I'm thinking about getting the Kraford Lypt 1st reg delete fitting. Has anyone here deleted their's ????
If you live in the U.S. and the lower 48. I am pretty sure I have a spare k&l reg delete I could mail you. Pm me if interested.

im just curious " the first reg takes a ton of pressure off the most important second reg am i right ? so if the first reg creeps a little does it affect the second reg from it doing its job much ? it still would have to be better than a 3600 psi to 2500 psi swing i would think , i just see a lot of guys fighting the first reg , does it affect the second reg from filling the plenum to the set pressure ?

If you install the reg delete what do you do with the gauge on the rifle?
Leave it and let it sit at zero?
If you take it off and there's no reg to read I'm assuming you need to put a plug in that opening........
One of the kits comes with a plug to block off the first reg gauge. I cant find it for sale now, may not be in production any more. I think it would be fine to leave the gauge in place though. I think if you did, it would just read bottle pressure though.
