I have a .22 airforce factory barrel that is so good that I sold it n buy it back .. it shot from lead free GTO .. to 40g boat tail slugs ..each at its respective pressures..simply awesome..in my barrel only 249 size slugs..flat base only up to 24g above that only boat tail slugs from 28g to 40g .. above 24g flat base slugs have to much drag in the barrel. Boat tail no because they engage the rifling on the center of the slugs.. if you have one of the new condor rimlock valves n a 24" barrel..with a huma external reg you are set to go long
