Is there a simple way to re-install a breech O-ring in a hatsan AT 44-10? Went to insert magazine in the rifle the other day and saw the O-ring in the magazine port. Doesn't seem to have affected accuracy, but not sure about the FPS as I haven't ran it across the chrono since it happened.

Sure. Remove the barrel and unscrew the little cap that holds the o-ring. It's hard to see but after you remove the barrel you will see two o-rings, one before and one after the transfer hole. You can unscrew the end of the barrel before the first o-ring.

You are going to have to remove the barrel/shroud to get to the o-ring. I've got a Gladius and my o-ring blew out a couple of months ago and the only way for me to replace the o-ring was to remove the barrel and shroud. At least with the barrel and shroud off you can give them a good cleaning. Just remember you'll have to re-zero your gun since the alignment will be slightly different than before.

Thanks a lot, its appreciated. Was hoping there was some magic fix that didn't require removing the barrel, but I guess you gotta do what ya gotta do. Been wanting to swap out scopes anyway so now I guess I have a real good reason. Thanks again, Mike.

Watched the video and followed his instructions and it went very smoothly. O-ring is back in and rifle is wearing a new, although cheap mil-dot scope. Plus the barrel is clean as a whistle. Thanks again for the information.
