Hatsan Blitz: does anybody know what these features are for?

Hi everyone. First off, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Now, I have been contemplating the purpose of these slits/clips in the stock of the Hatsan Blitz. I cannot believe that they were put there for no reason because it would be needless design engineering and molding complexity, especially since they are on both sides. They are not for Magazine storage, the stock doesn't retract. What the heck are they for?? Any Ideas?

Nope, the cheek piece is in back of them and slides up and down on a track... Is there a way to message Hatsan dealership through AN?

If those tabs are located on both sides (4 total) then since it comes with a very tall rail that you probably removed my only guess would be a cheek piece riser based on looking at the push type tabs in your picture.

Hatsan usa probably don't know either since they don't sell the accessory anyway.

But thats what I think it's for based common sense.

Nope, the strap clips are underneath the chin rest

Theres nothing online to state what it's for.

Sure would be curious to see what HatsanUSA says via email reply to your inquiry. I doubt even they would know since they aren't the factory nor engineers in Turkey.

Those are to keep pressure on the sides of the buffer tube to to keep the stock tight, they squeeze the buffer tube on both sides.

Is the buffer tube an integral part of the stock which is held to the action by a single screw? How does the buffer tube work if it's not attached to the action.

I’m not sure on the Hatsan Blitz but on regular AR stocks that’s what the notches are for.

 On researching the gun on You Tube, I came across this Russian takedown video... It shows no buffer tube like the AR, so this post is still looking for an answer!!

After watching the video I have to agree with you about a conventional buffer tube. I do think there is a tube installed in the stock to stiffen it up and those clips hold it in place. Can you verify?
