Hatsan blitz

Hello all, I'm somewhat of a newbe to PCP world, and this site, I just recently purchased a hatsan blitz bull pup, it's identical to the regular blitz except the stock is shorter anyway a few days after purchasing it was firing fine but then all of a sudden it won't cycle correctly, one shot and then no trigger bump the butt of the stock with my hand and then I have trigger I've searched countless videos and can't find anything I made sure there was not an over amount of grease inside, took the bolt action apart and found the hammer in the bottom tube is getting hung up just a tiny bit, I fire it the push if forward about a 1/16 of an in maybe less and then I have trigger again, I can't seem to find out what's making it hang up just that tiny bit, if anyone has had this issue or could give me some insight it would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for letting me join look forward to hearing from you all

As an American it's really difficult to give the OP any trigger advice in regard to his trigger issue. The bullpup configuration doesn't seem to be available here in the US. And one of the most strikingly different aspects between the regular Blitz, and the Bullpup variant, is most likely the trigger. At least that's how it seems to go with most other guns, and gun types. It would be nice to see some pictures of the Bullpup trigger system on the Blitz if the OP cracks his open. Maybe the trigger is the reason for this model not being released here in the US?

does anyone know if and how to lighten the trigger pull on the blitz
Hi

Polish every contact point and change the main trigger spring.
A huge inprovement is to make a new and larger triggerblade. Don that on my Invader Auto

The trigger on my Blitz is getting much better with use. I've been very pleased with my Blitz. I went with a scope initially, it is currently wearing a red dot. Only really had one issue early on, totally my fault. I used a cleaning rod to push the multiple pellets out of the bore 4-5 of them. All good. Only thing I have done is run some dry patches for cleaning, so far so good.

Well I figured out the cycling issue deburred and polished and that did the trick, and yes hatsan moved the trigger forward right behind the bottle block and attached a rod to where the original trigger was, I don't know why they don't sell them in the US I've talked with a few vendors and they wish they would ship the to the US because they'd be a hot seller, I purchased mine through airgunseurope. com it was at my door step in 7 days even being held up in customs for a day or more, I'd be happy to post some pics of the trigger system if yould like, other than the trigger and the shortened stock it's identical to the standard blitz

Also airgunseurope.com is located in the Netherlands so 7 days shipping time is awesome, they are very friendly and helpful, they told me they ship the blitz bull pup all the time to the US with absolutely no issues but like always they may not ship to certain states or cities, check your laws first just to be sure

Please do.

I've had the blitz for several years but I doubt it has had a tin of pellets though the barrel..I shoot it mostly semi auto..
I normally shoot the cheap crossman premier hollow point 14 grain pellets and I tried the jsb 18 and they work well but the jsb redesigned 25 grain pellets turn it into a bolt action, so I don't shoot those because I don't know if it will damage the works..
yes I need to polish everything.. when I had the gun open and the trigger group apart the machining on even the hammer is very rough..
the things I don't like are the heavy trigger, and it's very loud.. but I read that the Donny FL moderator stops it from cycling..
I wish the RPM could be turned down to around 700..1200 is just way to fast..if you get on and off the trigger quickly it's still 3-5 shots.. so I mainly use semi auto.. but I've been shaking a lot from my thyroid and I had to get a varmint and missed him twice, was eating my peaches off my tree.. well I flipped it to full auto when he scolded me from a pine tree and he was done..
thank you for the suggestions.. any more for a Donny FL moderator? or anyone have a idea how to slow down the rate?
thank you
Mark

The cyclic rate is high, one of the reasons I chose .22 to keep it cheap to feed. I'm on the fence buying the Hatsan speedloader for the standard magazines. I think I'll purchase the speedloader before I buy a big magazine for it. I think I would rather have a couple more standard magazines and the loader. Has anyone here been using the Hatsan speedloader? The video looks good.

WOW that's awesome.. please let me know what model you have? I have the hatsan blitz in 22 caliber.. so that would be great if I can put a moderator on it..I just need to know what Donny works for you.. assume that it won't matter if you have 22,25, or 30..?? since I think larger moderator will work on a smaller caliber.. did you have to make any changes to get it to work with the moderator?
will be nice if I can somehow lighten the trigger pull too..
I suppose no one has had a way to slow down the RPM on it?
thank you so much
Mark

is that bull pup the new hatsan blitz I saw is coming out.. the new one looks longer than the standard blitz and has a 700 tank and well if I remember correctly it weight is around 15 LBS 😳😳 that heavy would only work tripod mounted 🤣 Mark
I saw a newer one with "777", written on the side. I don't think it was bullpup. But I wasn't paying close attention.

If anything it might slow down the rpf just a tad but it's barely noticeable, the only moderator donny fly recommends is the ronin along with donnys adapter, Google donny fly moderator for a hatsan blitz, my rife is a 25 caliber blitz bull pup but the enternals are all the same, first thing I did after receiving my blitz and after firing a few rounds was order the moderator, worst case senerio is you might have to get a lighter spring for the barrel at ace hardware, I didn't have to do that with mine because I increased the hammer spring adjustment one half a turn and it's been awesome ever since hope this helps check out donnys youtube video it explains everything
