I'm curious if we have any carnivore owners on the boards and if so how does it handle? Also how loud is it compared to some of the other PCP are?

Definitely going to do a little more research on on these. If I do pick one up in the future it'd be a .30 cal. It'd be stock or close to it for shot count.

I just got one i put a hawke sf 6x24x44 varmint scope on it saving up to get a bwalton tune!

Shot .30 cal carnivore today 1/2 inch groups at 50yds was hitting 3inch swinger at 100yds at will!!!!

Very nice! Sounds like you got one to shoot well out of the box. I ended up the same, afraid (or no reason) to do anything to it.

I went ahead and decided to get a .30 version along with two tins of JSB 44gr pellets. I'm going to match it up with a UTG 4-16x50 AO scope and do my best to reach out to around 75yds. Looks like with this I've officially become an addict.

The really great thing about Hatsan airguns are the removable air tube. For $150 you can get an extra tube and double your shot count without adding to the weight of the gun.

Normally I'm not a fan of auto safety, but if anything my Texan has taught me its a good thing on big bores. Plus the .30 pellets are about the same cost as .25 on Amazon and the count per tin is the same too. That and the price was right for a new one at just under $680 there as well.
If its as quiet and as accurate as I hope it is then it'll be my go-to gun for night time hunts.

Took me a bit to get used to the safety, being on the opposite the bolt and not being able to reach without removing my hand from shooting position. Mine is reasonably quiet and certainly does not sound like a gun when fired, causing any alarm to someone close enough to hear it. My non-QE is much louder, which I still dont think sounds as much like a powder burner. My AF Condor however.............
I will have to check out Amazon for pellets, never have. We are at least seeing some other options if you cast, with JBS and BBTs, and production ammo for those of us that dont, H&N may be offering in 2016. Neilsonammo mentioned doing some swaged. As I found with the HPs, it depends on how they will be supported in the magazine to seat correctly.

Since I have Amazon Prime there are times when I can find a good deal on pellets that has free 2 day shipping. Also Airgun Depot and Pyramyd Air both have amazon stores so its less complicated for me in the long run.

Looks like I'll be waiting longer than expected. I got sent a .35 caliber instead of the .30 caliber I ordered. Guess this means another week of waiting to get the right rifle once the return/exchange request goes through.

Ugh, bummer! Happen to me once too. To avoid further delay, they let me provide tracking number and sent my replacement. However, that was with Hatsan directly. Hope it goes through quickly!

After some thought and listening to my father's advice I think I'm going to keep the .35 cal. So hopefully the .35 pellets arrive this week and the rain lets up long enough for me to go out and sight the scope in.

Decided on sending the .35 back. Loved the basic feel of the stock, and how everything was in general but when it came down to it the .30 was what I really wanted. At least now I'll have .35 pellets laying around in case I ever run across a good deal on a Sam Yang Recluse, or if I save up enough for something really special in the future.

And if you goal was shooting a faster velocity, at almost half the weight, the .30 will do it for you. It will shoot over 900fps, stock. I was is the same boat, PA has Recluse refurbs, ise 10%code and free shipping = just over $500. Just in case you are looking to liquidate more assets
