Hatsan Hatsan factor sniper long

Copying my own writing from another air gun forum:

Just got mine yesterday. Factor Sniper L .25.

After playing it for a few hours I am very pleased at this point with the gun.

I have owned a FX impact a few years ago so i have a good but pricewise unfair product to compare by memory.

A few points:

-Quiet energy system. It,s not really a quiet gun even when shooting low energy levels. A lot noisier than bt65 with added hatsan silencer. I added a hatsan silencer and now it’s quiet when double silenced.

-Power is ”only” going to about 85 fpe so not advertised 115 fpe but i will try heavier pellets or slugs. Maybe i get more with those. This 85 fpe was with jsb heavy 33,95 gr.

-Quality and functioning is ofcourse not on same level as fx guns but still good i think.
No crappy plastic used other than in the butt stock and that is nice plastic.

-Butt stock is VERY adjustable and sturdy. I got it in good adjusments. Nice quality plastic and finish is good. Manufacturing tolerances and amount of slop seems great when talking about hatsan. Very little slop in any adjustment point.

-Metal work is nice by hatsan standards. Not perfect but still nice to watch any part of the gun.

-Regulator adjustment seems to work well and seems to react systematicly to chrono results going up or down.

-trigger actually very good. On the heavy side out of the box but i will try to lighten it. Crisp functioning and trigger blade as nice as in fx guns. I have AA CD and HW Rekord triggers to compare and this is not bad.

-accuracy test done only about 20m and no problems there. Seems accurate. Zero flyers or else.

-cocking lever is very sloppy. Up/down movement about 10mm
:D
. I will try to add washers in when moving it from right to left side. Lever linkage manufactured hatsan style by welding three stamped sheet metal parts together. Works but ugly to watch.

-cocking cycle a bit crunchy but i will see if it needs deburring as hatsans always does.

So far very happy with this!
