Hatsan Hatsan Flashpup accuracy problem

Hello

I have a problem with accuracy on my Hatsan Flashpup.22 , on about ten pellets I have 2 or 3 flyers of about 6 cm to the left, the right up and down, I changed my scope try with and without moderator , trying several types of pellets for the moment the h&n ftt are going well very good grouping despite the flyers, I have properly recrowned the barrel. All test at 10 and 20 meters.

I suspect the barrel…

Have you tried using the single shot tray? Also check to see if the barrel is not creeping out of the receiver. Check to see if the moderator isn't loose or misaligned and clipping pellets.

At what speed are you driving the pellets? You should get your best accuracy somewhere between 800-925fps. Mine runs best around that 900 mark.

I have try with single shot tray, good silencer alignment, try without silencer,
I run at 900/925fps

Today strep barrel and put a pellet if I see marks on pellet, and maybe cut off fews millimeters barrel and recrown properly

So I had the same issue with mine in 177, polished barrel, recrowned, and no change.

I noticed that it was better after 20 shots, so I just filled to 200 bar and it seemed to help.

Also, really pellet picky, only liked JSB 8.4.

Its frustrating but you may have lost the barrel lottery.

Yes I see it’s really barrel lottery with Hatsan.
I have recrown, polished too and little best results, my records it’s 45 shots and only 3 flyers.
So, Hatsan send me new barrel next week . Maybe I win the lottery

Something I do when all else fails, is to load a pellet as I normally would, leave it in the barrel and pull the barrel, look through the transfer port and check if the pellet is visible through the TP. If it is, the burst of air deforms the pellet skirt, and leads to poor accuracy and consistency. This has happened to me a few times, and you can usually hear it while the pellet is in flight.

What a joy to have a rifle that shoots straight!!! So I just received my new barrel, I tested on 30 pellets at 12 yards I have a small hole of 5 millimeters. It remains to make good targets at longer distances. Thanks to all for your contribution. Now I love my Flashpup
