Tuning Hatsan hercules the big twin bottle help

a friend wants me to sight in his .30 cal Hercules. I ran it through the chrono and it's way too hot and the pattern is a shot gun. Anyone know how to turn down the speed? it is in the 990-fps area with 50.1 gr fx pellets.

I have had four Hatsan airguns. They have all had a hammer spring adjustment at the rear of the guns receiver. Not sure if your gun does but I would check to see if it does and start there.
