Hello I'm a new member to the forum but not new to air guns as I own many. Crosman 2300kt 22 cal, Crosman Storm xt 177 cal , Crosman viglante 177, ruger air magnum 22, Hatsan mod 25 177 just to name a few. I just purchased the mod 25 and am very pleased with it . But one thing has me baffled it has what appears to be a cheap scope stop mounted over the dovetail grooves in front of the rear sight and attached by two screws. I have googled it and can not find a scope stop that looks like it also in my search when I googled Hatsan mod25 a few pics had it but not many. I am thinking that it may be something the factory installed to align the sights and failed to remove it or is it son after market part and I was sold a used pistol . Hatsan USA has not responded to my emails. Any help would be great
