Hatsan Nova help.

I have a lightly used Hatsan Nova. When I fill it with air and disconnect the compressor the air slowly leaks out of the fill port.

I am sure it's just an O-ring but I know nothing about taking this gun apart and there's nothing on YouTube.

I'd appreciate any direction on removing the bottle or repairing this problem. Thanks

If your "fill port" is a Male foster I'd degas or let the air COMPLETELY leak out then remove the Male foster. Don't know if there's a one way check valve in the foster fitting on the Nova or another check valve in the air reservoir. Sounds like it's leaking from one of those. SHOULD be an easy fix. Hope that somehow helps.

Thanks for the reply. Back in 2017 I believe all PCP Hatsans came with a fill probe so the port on the gun is a female port. I agree this should be easy and I've done simple hammer and trigger stuff (i am currently replacing a barrell on my hatsan flash, pellet jam)...its been a bad month for my guns. This model is built solid and I can't find any videos on the disassembly of this first gen Nova. Hatsan is normally not willing to help over the phone (liability? ). Anyway I'll keep plugging.

The Nova uses the standared Male probe like the AT-44 and BT-65 models.
Shoot it down until it's empty then remove the bottle.
Then you can remove the fill area.
