hatsan pistol is it junk?

How is the Hatsan sortie pistol, Its been around for a while , Have they worked out all the bugs?

There on sale now and just wondering if there still junk, I was warned a few years ago to stay away from the sortie as it had a lot of problems ... Have they been worked out or is it still buyer beware ...

First of all, they should not call it a pistol. It's too big to be called that. Secondly, they did make a number of revisions. Mine was very reliable until I started modifying it. Mine was also VERY accurate, but you have to get past the awkward size of the thing, and the quite heavy and long trigger pull. Nothing to be done about it. It's integrated with the action of the gun. I used the folding stock on mine most of the time. If I did it again, I'd likely just get an aea semi auto, though also a bit large for a pistol, not as bulky as the sortie.

i had one and worked on it constantly .. it still functioned and looked pretty good ... i just recently 'gave' it away to someone thats what i thought of it .. i felt too guilty to charge anyone money for it haha .. pos .. fun if you like to tinker maybe ...

I don’t think I have ever seen a single video on the Sortie that didn’t include a bunch of complaints about it.
