Hatsan Hatsan sortie mag retention issue

Hi guys, so i had a previous issue with my sortie with i sortie'd out by using a cleaning rod. Now there's a new one. The litte tab that sticks out so the magazine can hold it's position is backed up into the barrel making it so it doesn't stick out to give proper mag retention. I haven't found any fix for it yet and i also don't know what caused it, do any of you have a fix or know what's up? I'd like to know

Now i am very technically inclined so i know my way around small parts and such so i can probably fix this myself but i just don't know how as off now.

Pics maybe? I’m guessing that your barrel slipped forward. Loosen the barrel grub screws and slide barrel back until the tab protrudes and tighten down again. This guess is based off of hatsan’s roto s mag that seems to be used on a lot of their airguns.

Hi, found the screws but I can't find any way to move the barrel because there's a shroud in the way and the muzzle break esk thing in the front is locked down with some crazy locktite. I put a barrel swab in it but it doesnt grab onto the barrel. Any ideas?

That’s exactly what I thought had happened. Unfortunately the only way too fix it is by taking the shroud off.

Maybe you can remove to barrel completely and then see if you can deal with the shroud.
