Several years ago I handled a couple Hatsans,...I swore I would never buy one, to me the company does not exist.

Thanks for the reply Seth, you were right it sat in the corner of the shed for a few months and I had a look at that mechanism and it was bent and the spring that provides pressure to it was all chewed up. Everything around it is badly worn too. I cleaned it up and put in a new spring ( why the idiots at hatsan couldn't do it I have no idea )If you want to fix it yourself it's probably the anti bounce mechanism. It sits under the hammer and is u shaped. After a while the u shape gets bent out and jams. Bend it back by squeezing it a bit. It will happen again eventually. It's a design flaw I believe. I put a bit of moly on mine to help it last longer
I get parts from them on a consistent basis. And have also bought other things from them. I personally have never had a problem. They have always returned my emails within 48 hours.
